Commencing his career as an officer with KOTC Capt. ElMalt went on to diversify his marine career by serving on major bulk shipping lines and then on to container and break bulk vessels until 2002.
Joining the Oil & Gas industry again in 2002, he joined the Abu Dhabi Petroleum Ports Operating Company (ADPPOC/currently known as Irshad of UAE serving crude and product tankers from the small to the ULCC’s.
Since 2004 Capt. ElMalt has been employed by ADMA-Opco of United Arab Emirates were he was initially appointed as Senior Marine Supervisor.
During his tenor there, he was responsible for vetting, inspecting and auditing of contractors, their systems, their personnel and marine units.
Capt. ElMalt is also affiliated with the Oil Companies International Marine Forum and the Nautical Institute and the Arab Nautical League.
