Biography

Commencing his career as an officer General cargo vessels, Oil/Chemical tanker

Joining the Oil & Gas industry again in 2007, he joined SVITZER Part of A.P MOLLER MAERSK. Capt. Elbayoumy has been selected for the SVIFT Program 2008-2009 (SVITZER International Fast Track Program) from the middle east area to attend management courses in Copenhagen close to SVITZR head office for one year with 21 persons from SVITZER around the world and the program achieved successfully.

Since 2010 Capt. Elbayoumy has been employed by Schlumberger (WesternGeco) of USA On board Seismic survey vessel working worldwide.

During his tenor there, he was responsible All Bridge Management. Introducing ISM/ ISPS onboard and updating procedures. Itinerary planning. Supervised ship officers and crew members as directed, Coordination of departments, Crew Training and overseeing deck department, day to day running of ship, documentation, Permit to work, Preparing ship for survey. Security, safety, Helicopter Operations, Ship Security officer and Ship Safety Officer Responsible for ships emergency parties and firefighting teams including onboard training of ships staff Responsible for overseeing testing and maintenance of safety equipment. Crew and QHSE safety Meetings. Internal audits on board our vesselsĀ  and auditing contractors, Their crew and support vessels. Investigations by using Systematic Cause analysis Technique. Member of Loss prevention team.
